ABOUT ME
Welcome! I'm a dedicated Drawing and Talking practitioner with a rich background supporting children within NHS primary and high schools and for over two decades of therapy is deeply intertwined with my expertise as a meditation teacher, where I've had the privilege of guiding families through mindfulness practices, enhancing their collective well-being. Holding a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science, I uniquely blend technology into therapy, creating inclusive IT tools tailored for individuals on the neurodiverse spectrum. This approach stems from a personal passion and understanding, as a father to an extraordinary child with autism, navigating the complexities of severe sensory and speech disorders together. I am an Autism Practitioner who provides psychoeducation and solutions in a impactful framework.
My work is driven by a belief in the transformative power of therapy, particularly the gentle, yet profound impact of drawing and talking techniques in processing trauma and emotions as well as establishing an holistic approach to Autism. It's a method I've seen unlock incredible healing pathways, offering a minimally intrusive yet significantly beneficial approach to emotional wellness.
In addition to my role in educational settings, I am an NHS-registered Low Intensity CBT Wellbeing Practitioner, specializing in managing anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. Beyond my clinical work, I engage in international peace advocacy as a public speaker and contribute to my local cultural landscape as a nominated poet laureate. I am enhanced DSB checked and clinical trained in Risk management.
My private practice focuses on delivering Drawing and Talking therapy for children and adults as well as Autism support for parents.. Currently I am not offering CBT privately. My holistic approach to therapy remains rooted in a deep commitment to supporting each individual's journey towards healing and self-discovery.
